I received an onsight estimate from the manager regarding replacing carpeting with a wooden floor in one room and sanding down and refinishing the wood under carpeted stairs or recarpeting them. The manager informed me after lifting the carpet on the stairs that the stairs were oak and they could refinish them. It turned out the stairs were pine and after they refinished them, it was nothing as promised. In addition, the workmen installing the hardwood flooring left an unbelievable mess.
