I went in for a consultation at the end of may 2026. i went back in in late june to get braces put on, and within 24 hours i had been through so much trauma i ended up at a MUCH better orthodontist to have the hardware removed and immediately called to break my contract. my initial visit was normal and everyone seemed knowledgeable and welcoming. during the process of getting my braces put on, they used an invisalign tray to place the brackets on my teeth. the tech coated my teeth in so much glue that when the tray was place... read more
Mesha is great
I would absolutely not recommend Hess Orthodontic to any one. They will not help you more than they hurt you. I just got my braces off two days ago after having them on for 5 years even though I was only supposed to have them on for 2 1/2 years. When grinding the glue off my teeth, after popping off my braces, they cut to deep into two of my teeth and broke through the enamel. My daughter has been back into the Winter Haven office 4 times in a month with either brackets falling off or wires cutting into her cheek. I told them that she can’t keep missing school an I can’t keep missing work and it wasn’t a big deal to them. Also the website says that they open at 7:30 on Tuesday but actually wasn’t until 8:30 so I had to sit in the parking lot for an hour. I need a number in order to contact someone higher up in Hess Orthodontics.
