We moved here in 2005 because it offered everything we were looking for and we, also, were closer to our son and family. We did not want to be a burden on them since we lived our lives and it was their time to live theirs without worrying about us.
One day in the REACH facility is all it took to kill my dad.
We just passed the second anniversary of Dad's fatal overdose by Lenoir. He went to REACH for rehab after a fall, where incompetent prescribing and dispensing of percocet put him in respiratory failure. Refusal to admit it was an overdose and try to counteract it with narcan before it was too late made it fatal.
The way they handled the issues with my father was abhorrent. This was not the right level of care from the start so they set him up for failure.
Awesome place Wonderful and caring staff Lots of new improvements
The staff at REACH has been so kind to my parents (97 & 96 years old). My mom was admitted on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. The staff has been very caring and helpful.
