They spend money on renewables even though it only makes up 12 percent of the energy infrastructure. Most of the energy even generated from petroleum, gas , renewable and coal is eventually lost due to transmission and getting it to your home. The whole energy infrastructure is designed at a deficit but energy costs keep going up I wonder why? Even if you give people credits or savings the root of the problem always exists generation cost will cost more and delivery as well.
One of the worst companies that we are stuck doing business with that pays their CEO almost $20 million a year. Why does he have to make that much money? We can't afford our electric bills but yet did he ever get a pay cut? Well anyways try to call them. You have to speak to a robot for forever so you can finally get by then. They say oh we're busy. Customer service is horrible, consistently raising their delivery charges by large amounts for no reason. Delivery charge being 2x the price of usage is criminal. Definition of greed. I would give a 0 star review if they allowed it.
The worst energy company that you can ever get. It sucks that Connecticut does not offer very many options so Eversource is pretty much the only company most people can go to. If I had a choice, I would never use Eversource ever again. They have overcharged me way too many times and especially this past month when I was not using any heat and we moved out earlier than when our lease was up and somehow my bill was two times the amount that it had been within the past few months.
