They never even set up my meter. I have no power in the unit on move in day and have food that needs to be refrigerated plus work in the morning. Im currently just lost on what to do. All my friends and family aren’t nearby either. They said they would try and get service out to me by tonight, but that’s also unlikely since it’s after hours. Called eversource with concerns about them painting yellow lines all over my property Person on the phone was nice told me the workers will call me. Still waiting. Talked to a worker on my street and asked him about it with my concerns about my property and he replied we can do what we want it's in the contract. Asked them when they are coming to do the work on the street and to everyone's houses and he said they need to do the street first and they dont know. The reason that eversource is installing smart meters is so that they can monitor homes that have home Servers running. We live in a country and a world where about 1.5 million people are running PRIVATE servers in their home and a lot of us use it for Artificial Intelligence. That we run privately and offline.
