Very clean and excellent living for 55 and older
My mother was a resident of this building for 4 years. She had to leave due to declining health. I had to empty her apartment and issue number 1 is that the elevator broke with her belongings inside. There was no sense of urgency to resolve the matter. It took weeks to get her belongings. Now we received a notice for payment of carpeting that the maintenance man told us was going to be replaced regardless because she lived there for 4 years. Wow, The Community is really coming along with the new manager. I will start with Elizabeth who works hard and makes it a point to know the residents by name. She is so helpful, and I’ll add it’s always with a big smile on her face.Then Nicky who is really pulling it off with some great activities and new ideas. I drove past and noticed that these were a 55+ community and got a little excited, that is until I went online and found out how high the rent is!!! What kind of senior can afford those prices?? I guess college grad professionals.... But the average senior can't!! Discrimination and ridiculously outrageous prices!!! SMH
Why five stars you ask? I’ve lived in Everleigh Short Pump close to four years, and it’s been life-changing. Like most octogenarians, I want to be as independent as possible. Everleigh supports this by providing multiple friendships, a multitude of games, ample exercise options (mine being my treadmill, which is use every day for 40 minutes), community functions including Thirsty Thursday Happy Hour, and THE BEST location, including walking distance to Kroger’s, multiple restaurants, and my pedicure place.
