Hired this gentleman to come over and fix a simple job. Two copper pipes, easy access. A hole on each pipe from the winter. He showed up on time. That was nice. Did some of the job, needed to go get more parts. Charged me for the run. Power was shut off, so we couldn’t check for Leaks. He charged me a whopping $350 +or-. For such a simple job…that was crazy. The next day the power was on. I checked for leaks and the valve had a leak. He wanted to charge me another $175 + or -. I couldn’t believe it! I told him he was way ove... read more
