My wife and I will never visit EvergreenHealth again due to our horrible experience below: My wife and I booked an annual preventive care appointment with Dr Chan back in June. Before the appointment, my wife double checked with the front desk and they confirmed our appointments were just preventive care appointments and should be fully covered by our insurance. I went to Everygreen Health for my annual physical last Nov. I didn't want to incur any unexpected cost and was assured everything is covered as preventive and I don't need to pay anything out of pocket. Later, I was charged for a $135.66 since this was a considered as a outpatient visit based on the notes. They refuse to remove the charge and they refuse to check with the doctor on this issue and didn't offer any solution. Will never book with this clinics. I visited Evergreen Sammamish for my Annual Checkup (Preventive Care appointment) with Dr Boone back in August. Before the appointment, I double checked with the reception and insurance. They both confirmed my appointment as preventive care and should be fully covered by my insurance. I shut my mouth off during my Preventive Annual Checkup, so that they cannot bill for additional service. Despite of my precautionary measure, they still charged me for Annual AND Office Visit both at the same time. This is completely unethical... read more
