I have been getting blood draws for the last 25 years and have never had any issues except twice, both times at the same laboratory. The last time this happened was two years ago; they messed up, apologized, called someone else who did the job correctly, and successfully drew blood from my other arm. However, this time the phlebotomist really hurt me. She kept poking repeatedly, causing significant pain. Have been a long time user. Last 2 years have been bad experience. I went for blood test and the person poked and poked and it became super painful. And I asked them to use the other arm. It was super painful the way she did it (again). I have never had this bad experience in blood draw so far. This is the second time in last 3 years this has happened.
Make sure you come in significantly earlier than their closing time. This is the second time I came in before 4 (first 10 minutes and then 15 minutes) and on both occasions they were closed. These people are slacking.
