Received a collection call for a bill I never received
Fast and easy
3 people in front of me first thing in the morning. I was in and out quick without an appointment. I had a great first time experience.
Took a test for GTT. Worst experience. I was asked to fast and take the test at 8:45. When i arrived on time for 8:50, the front desk was rude and didnt want me in. I get them dealing with a high volume but they said youre all set. All set? I waited for another 30 mins and called someone snd then was given a glucose drink since Ive been fasting for 10 hours non stop. Then my 2 hour gtt was taken after 2.5 hours. Seriously? I received a collections letter in the mail for a $78 bill I never received. I called the Evergreen Lab Services accounting department and they said they sent this bill to me 3 times in 5 months via US mail. I never saw any of these bills. They connected me the collections agency which billed me, and had me pay the bill there. They said they no longer bill though My Chart where all my Evergreen bills are posted. It would be wise to insist your physician use required lab services elsewhere. This is just bad business.
