Yesterday, I was walking my dog downtown and he got something stuck in his paw and couldn't walk. I thought maybe my friend Jeannine might be working so I carried him down there. Jeannine wasn't there but another bartender was just opening up. I told what was going on. She said "I'll help you". She treated my dog with such knowledge and care. I said "you really know what you're doing!" Come to find out, her other job is vet tech! What kind of kizmet was that? Thanks to Rachel for saving the day! I soooo lucky!
Clean and a lovely view 7 dollar craft taps
The bar and atmosphere are mediocre, but the staff is incredible. Jeanine in particular was THE BEST!!! We came for a girls weekend and she gave us all the best recommendations and plans for our trip. Then, we left the bar to go to dinner at one of the restaurants she recommended and she showed up nearly 40 mins later since someone in our group had left their hat behind at the bar. That’s true small town hospitality thanks to a truly great bartender!
The Tacoma taproom is a cool location with a chill vibe (more taprooms need couches), delicious food and fine beer. Any brewery with a CDA is always a keeper for me.
