This place is a true gem! If you're looking for a great place to have an event, there are two residences for guests and a nice sized barn with space for tables, dancing and a band. We went for a meeting with a presentation for our organization and for fun, our group did a western theme. The acoustics made it easy to hear the presenters and the layout was conducive for seeing the screen. Went there for Edgar Allen Poe, and it was a very nice building and area with the little lake and all.
The venue is lovely. We were there on hot/rainy evening, there is no A/C and it was very uncomfortable. We still had a great time but we were very glad to get outside after the show.
