Randy and Kyle at Evergreen are true experts on touring bikes, and I appreciate that they offer an outstanding selection in steel frame brands - Kona, Surly, Fuji, Jamis, Marin, and Breezer, among some others. This allows them to provide completely objective advice on a variety of excellent options. They have also curated a complete line of the best accessories, which is extremely helpful for fitting up your bike to hit the road running. Well worth the trip to consult with them!
The bikes were well maintained. Location provided convenient access to the empire state bike trail, with connections to the Glens Falls - Lake George bike trail. The staff were friendly, provided current advice on trail conditions, and ensured the bike was properly setup. Price was reasonable. And - cool historic railroad building for the store.
What a bike shop! Open on a Sunday! Quality rentals a a great price (that don't weigh 45 lbs), a helpful friendly owner. Products for bike travel, unusual items. I'm glad I found this one.
I love my new Marin bike! These guys were great at getting a "senior" lady set up. I plan to ride well into my eighties as did my great-grandmother!
It's a nice little bicycle shop.
