I highly recommend Dr. Boutette at Evergreen Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital in Kirkland. In my 40 years of bird ownership, he is truly one of the best avian vets I have ever seen. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, gentle, and deeply grounded in science. I brought my 10-year-old female Dusky Conure, Poco, in for her annual exam. Wow! I had such a great experience with the great team at Evergreen Avian and Exotic in University Place. I needed to get the proper paperwork to allow Morpheus the rabbit to fly from the USA to Europe. Dr. Krishnan did an amazing job (on a tight timeline) researching the paperwork required and creating a plan to get this furry man home. She also gave him a great checkup and suggested some important care that he will require from a vet in Europe. Our leopard gecko, Rhino is 17. He's also introverted and a little OCD (like me). Getting out of his enclosure occasionally to explore my shoulder or the couch is the maximum excitement he's had in.....well, ever. Driving him 30 minutes to the vet was quite a big deal. He had never been to the vet before. I know that Rhino has a good compass for vibes and energy, though. Everyone is very nice and professional. I only have been once and it is very clinical though. I am hoping there will be more warm and fuzzys the next time we go. The parking is terrible so plan on getting there early. Also, this is an exotic vet clinic so all kinds of critters were there which was fun to see!
Very helpful and understanding staff. They've taken great care of my guinea pigs.
