I've been at the americana for 2 weeks. Some things got messed up but also got fixed (right away) all the staff I met was awesome. A big thanks to director of nursing (tami) .... your wonderful !! And a big thank you to physical therapy lady (mae) for giving me the motivation I needed to get going... I APPRECIATE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONE ON MY BEHALF.. ❤️
Had a family member there for rehabilitation after toe amputated caused from being diabetic. He got very little PT. Didn't have him on a diabetic diet. He got one shower the entire time he was there. His heels turned black from pressure sores and he had bed sore. He was sent home with open wounds. Was told he would be receiving home nurse care. After leaving several messages I finally got a call back just to let me know there is no home care available in our area. My Father is now back in the hospital with MRSA and most like... read more
Please beware of putting your loved ones in this facility !!! If you have loved ones in this facility please please believe them when they tell you things that go on inside there. Look into how many times some of there employees are suspended and what for, Right now the Director of the facility and the Head nurse are suspended , one employee who is known for abuse and has been suspended multiple times and just got off another suspension.... Bottom line is if you care about your loved ones don’t put them in this facility !!!
