I was incarcerated here back in the early 2000s when it was ojocc and ran by G4S back then it wasn't completely horrible. But his time progressed it definitely wasn't the place to be. And it was a court ordered situation back then and I'm sure it's still is now, you don't just think one day I'm going to send my child here and then pack up the car and take them and drop them off now it's not like that. This place is supposedly related to the dozier school for boys , found over 20 dead bodies buried on the compound. Do not send your children here !
My son was here for approx 16 months, he did VERY well in this program he was able to get hhmis GED and also participated in the Home Builder Institute which allowed hom to get several certifications. Communication wasn't always the best mostly with the education department, but typically if I called or email someone always got back to me. He was able to complete all court sanctions to include doing things around the building to pay off restitution.
