Everglades is an interesting experience as it ooze the decadence of the Art Deco era. The history of the home and gardens is outlined susinctly by the National Trust in the museum displays and throughout the property itself. The views from the garden and the house are breathtaking. Everglades is well worth a visit. Allow a solid amount of time (I was there 4 plus hours) to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy Tea and scones in the dining room.
Spectacular preserved mid-war period house. If you love art deco/mid century and lovely gardens by Paul Sorenson visit Everglades preserved by the National Trust.
If you like looking at gardens, this one is very pretty and has tea rooms.
Loved it! Arc deco style place with awesome gardens and incredible views.
The only garden unchanged since designed! We went in Spring with everything in full bloom. To die for original Art Deco main house. An absolutely must visit when in the mountains.
