I called them this afternoon and some woman told me to go to the office in Jamaica Plain to get an application, when I got there, they told me it was the wrong place and that I had to go to the office located at Davis Square. When I got there, with the application, the same girl who had ansered the phone before, greeted me and asked me for 2 pic IDs, she made a copy and a minute later told me they were not taking any more applications for waitstaff position, even though there was a huge sign at the window hiring for waitstaf... read more

I have worked for Event Temps for almost two years now and the job has been great. The work is easy and often fun and I am making a LOT more money than I did at my previous job, working in a bookstore. Working at all sorts of different places and with all sorts of different people keeps the job fresh and interesting. For the most part my co-workers are fantastic, I was never expecting a group of temps to be so hard working, ethical and good humoured! My experience with this company has definitely been a positive one.
It was okay going there the first time. They seem to give the jobs to favorites. Only go there when schools are no on vacation.
Totally flexible schedule working cool events. If you got the look and the skills this is the place for waiter/bar gigs. Great online scheduling and nice people in the office. Highly recommended
