The place was perfect. Great for our large family gathering. My aunt died and we needed a place to have repast afterwards. This place was amazingly roomy, comfy and appropriate for our gathering. Plus the price was right. And the location was good as well away from traffic. If you're looking for a place to rent for a day or even a few days choose the Event Center At The Oaks. Don't hesitate. This is a perfect place for small to medium events with seating for 75 in the banquet room, which has a small stage, podium and a drop down screen. The foyer area also has a complete kitchen, plus steam table. Once furnished, there will also be a conference room available. The event center is on the grounds of The Oaks nursing home, but is a completely separate facility that is available for public rental.
