2/6/2026, We both ordered the fried pork chops (made to order), mac n cheese, and green beans. The meal came with corn bread and a drink. The food did not lack seasoning. The chops were juicy and tender, the beating had just the right amount of crispness. What made this for me was the cherry kool-aid! The ladies at the counter were very friendly. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
Evelyn’s Soulfood was seriously good, with a ton of flavor packed into every dish. Smothered pork chops with yams and corn for me, and wow. The fry on the chops combined with the gravy and rice, dang boy. I didn’t expect finish it all but I did. Yams sweet with a cozy hint of cinnamon or some kinda spice, and the corn was just plain good. Gimme some more of that.
