LOST TWO LOYAL CLIENTS New “Vibe” Nail bar is NOT a vibe….. We purchased a gift certificate in January for my mom’s birthday and spent over $60 on services for her to treat herself as a gift. She went to book an appointment in April only to be told that she could not redeem her gift certificate due to them being under new management, even though the receptionist answering the phone still used “Evelina’s” as the name. I bought a Gift Certificate for my wife in January 20th, 2024 and when my wife tried to book an appointment in April 2024 she was told the business had a new owner and they would not honour the Gift Certificate....this sounds really shady given the name on the Gift Certificate is "Evelina's" with the same address and phone number that is active. Not a great experience. I was cut twice and bled on the pedicure and they didn’t have proper first aid on hand to disinfect the cuts.
PSA- Evelina's/ Beauty Maker Nail Salon in Signal Hill Centre. Under new management "Vibe". New owners are REFUSING to honor any previously purchased gift certificates. No warning, no explanation, ripped up the gift certificate and said "no longer accepted". Been going there since it opened 17 years ago...NOT ANYMORE! Shady business practices beware! 😡😡😡 A lovely lady was outside boycotting the business before I went in... Should have listened to her. 😔
*under new ownership* I love coming to Vibe nail bar, it’s my go to place in Calgary. Staff are amazing and so talented at nail art! Highly recommend them!
