Failed to connect to my EV but took a preauth anyway!
Not working. 9/25/2025.
ccs does not work and put my bolt into safe mode (unable to charge). I had to disconnect my 12v battery to reset this so I could charge again. Do not use this charger!!!!!!
Charger not working. I notified EVCS and they said they will repair.
This CCS charger broken our Chevrolet Bolt 2023 (16k miles). It immediately shown "Unable to charge", Chevrolet app saying "Lithium Battery Damage" and asking to bring car to nearest service center. Car was next reset following Chevrolet official procedure, 12V battery disconnected on turned-off car, that it got 2 permanent OBDII error codes: POD57 and U1833. Car absolutely refused to charge from another EVCS charger in Newport, and was able to charge from Electrify America Level 1 at Walmart in Newport.
