Best tasting health food in NYC – I discovered this place by pure chance, and I am grateful I did. The place isn't much to look at but, which authentic health food restaurant is? The service is great & the staff always greets with a smile. The orders are prompt but, (depending on what you order) it could be a 10-15 minute wait but, its totally worth it. Amazing! – The food is delicious and healthy, cooked without butter or oily residue. The place is spotless and delivery arrives fast. Plus, the prices are so reasonable. I can't say enough good things about Eva's.
Plain and simple, but not bland... the good stuff – Don't expect carnival here or major Ian Schrager feel to this place, but if you want to eat well, lean, and take good care of what goes into your body, this "small hole in the wall" is great. Been going for years. You will have to make your own ambiance cause the place has none, but who cares, the food is excellent at great prices.
Evas - Business Talk and Muscle Food – Every night at 6 or 7, a gang of entrepreneurs, gym enthusuiasts, NYU Stern business students, and finance professionals collect in the back of Eva's on 8th street (between 5 and 6th Ave.) for a lively dinner conversation. This place is awesome – I really enjoy going to this place. I found it about a month ago and have been going 1-2 times a week. Everything I've tried there has been pretty good. They have great soups, omelettes, falafels, pizza...it's delicious food. There are a lot of healthier options, and choices for vegetarians (and vegans?) and non-vegetarians. I love Eva's – I have been going to Eva's for quite a while now, and I love Evas for food, and various supplements at good price. It's like a cafeteria, and I only have eaten in once or twice. I always take my food out, and my absolute favorite is Champion Plate. Healthy Food For Perfect Prices – Wandering around downtown on a sunny afternoon, I grew hungry, but didn't want something like Starbucks and certainly didn't want anything as unhealthy as pizza.
