Horrible experience today the woman I spoke to was what seemed apathetic. I was distressed and worried about my kids an she made an vauge ominous threat about cps. Wouldn't offer any support without knowing personal information I clearly didn't want to give out when I only had questions about the place. Better off going to stay with a friend if you can. * NOT SAFE FOR DOMESTIC SURVIVORS * Too many people know the location. I've heard mixed stories regarding the homeless shelter but this place has things in place that PREVENT would be abusers from being contractually bound from sharing the location. In fact if you notify them someone is sharing the location you are put on a watch list and threatened with legal action if you "tattle" on someone again.
