We moved our dad here a year ago. Was a great place. We moved because there was nursing staff and a awesome friendly activity coordinator who the tenants loved. The Nurse was so great taking care of, and watching out for the seniors. Now there has been some upper management change and some staff has left, and they did not keep the caring nurse. So now the seniors don't get the same attention and the whole atmosphere has changed. If we'd have known that they would cut out the nursing position, we might have chosen a different... read more

We looked at a number or retirement residences after we decided to move out of our private residence. The Evanston Summit was the one that appeared to be the best fit for us due to location, facilities, reputation and philosophy. Our family shared in our assessment and agreed with our conclusion. After living here for nearly a year we are pleased that our experience confirms our decision.
My father moved into Evanston Summit at the end of August 2023. He has been very happy living there. He moved here because the pricing more reasonable than what he was paying elsewhere. The staff is excellent. Very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious with great alternate choices available if you don't care for the main course entrees at lunch and supper. I love this community! I have made so many wonderful friends here. We laugh a lot,play cards,take part in exercise and dance together. The staff we have are amazing,very helpful,friendly and always smiling! Our Care Aids are knowledgeable and quick to respond.Our rooms are comfortable and quiet. The chefs are very accommodating with my dietary restrictions. Evanston Summit is my happy place!
