This is a great video showing how a bow is rehaired by somebody who knows what they are doing. While I don't rehair my bows exactly like this person, it's pretty close! Of particular note is that this person finishes the frog first, just like I do. Most folks start at the tip, but I feel that you can get a more perfect ribbon of hair at the frog if you start from there.
As a local violin teacher, I have referred many students to michael evans for an instrument purchase. They have all been delighted with the service they have received.
