Decisions are difficult to make during the loss of a loved one. The first correct decision I made was calling Evans Funeral Home. The moment Brian answered the phone, I knew instantly these were the proper people I wanted on my side to help me handle my Dad's passing. Next on the scene was a sit down with Dwight. They didn't apply cosmetics or bother positioning the hands on my stepmother for a casket viewing. This is the second time the first time it was my father I had to request the cosmetics which they just handed me he looked like chalk. My stepmother had bruising .. her hands were clenched from a stroke not arthritis. I do not recommend Evans Funeral home on Livingston Ave Columbus, Ohio

Do NOT use this funeral home. So disrespectful. Didn't listen to us when we told them how many would attend so ran out of seats. Was also rushed and forced to start the service early so several family members missed it. Also, after seeing a young girl take money from her savings to pay for her father's services STILL REFUSING to give her money back even though a donation was sent to cover the services. . ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED

I am so happy that i chose Evans Funeral home. Dwight and Allison by far some of the kindest most sweet people we have ever met. Dwight made such a delightful impact on our mother through this hard time. She says he’s an Angel sent from above to help everyone to whom have to go through the loss of a loved one and she felt that he genuinely cared about her pain and sadness. As well as for myself i felt so warm and consoled by them. I am so GRATEFUL for everything they have done for us really. You guys are amazing ❤️ Thank you

There are too few words I can say to thank Evans Funeral Home. My family has used Evans Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Columbus, Ohio for decades. My grandmother, aunt, and now mother were all cared for by this family-run business. They were sensitive about the cost and offered me ways to cut the costs and expenses of my mother's service and burial.
