I would not recommend this doctor for anyone seeking compassionate breast care. I saw him a few years ago for breast cancer risk care. My anxiety around breast exams comes from losing my mother to cancer at a young age, and I shared that with the staff. I also asked if I could keep on my own wrap top instead of changing into a gown, since it opened the same way. Dr. Tummel was the first doctor I saw after finding out I had breast cancer and I’m so glad a friend referred him. Since day one he has made me feel comfortable and at ease. Throughout my entire chemo and surgery, he helped educate me properly and he is quite literally the best. After surgery, I was scared one night about something and called the on call number and he called me back 11pm Sunday on Memorial Day weekend and helped me feel at ease and talked to me for nearly 20 minutes. Dr.Tummel is an amazing doctor, however getting in contact with someone from his office is the worst headache ever. They never answer and it takes them days to return calls. If is not for that I would had given a 5 star.
