I saw Dr. Schloss when I had just gotten out of the hospital after being diagnosed with MS. I had a severe case of optic neuritis. My vision was pitch black and I couldn’t see anything out of one of my eyes. He pretty much told me that I would never see any improvement and I would now need to learn how to navigate life this way. This is hard for me to do, but I feel I have to get this out there for others to know about. I am a new MS patient with symptoms effecting my vision. I was referred to Dr. Schloss. He did not have a welcoming bedside manner and was kind of dismissive and short with me. The worst thing is that he was trying to explain that my vision will not get back to where it was before I had a flair up, “that’s why people with MS end up in a wheelchair”. Amazing doctor who is extremely knowledgeable. My daughter has papilledema, and he is taking such good care of her. In serious situations, he follows up and makes sure you're okay and that your care team is all on the same page. Truly our family's hero. Thank you so much Dr Schloss! -Zeblin family
