I would describe my visit with Dr Collins thusly: angry, suspicious, hostile, accusatory, loud, unkind, self centered, obnoxious, conclusory, defensive, unhelpful, deflective, dismissive, - just about everything you wouldn't want in a doctor.
Excellent orthopedic hand doctor!
If I could rate lower, I would. My experience with Dr. Evan Collins was extremely disappointing. He was condescending throughout the appointment, speaking in long, unnecessary explanations that felt dismissive rather than helpful. I came for a second opinion and hoped for guidance on next steps, but he refused to provide clear advice. Instead, he repeatedly asked, “What do YOU think you should do?”—which is not what I expected from a specialist who is supposed to be highly regarded in his field. Dr, Collins is hands down the BEST. I have a rare bone disease. Multiple Hereditary Extosis. I’ve been a patient of his for over 30 years. He’s done nerve decompressions. Countless other surgeries on my arms. Extosis(benign bone tumors)removal . And elbow replacement on my right elbow. I had such horrible pain. He’s fixed me up so many times over the years.
