Thom is exceptional. It's a long story, but I bought a late-model Benz on a whim for a summer road trip that included an extended stay in Santa Fe. Tom is the best mechanic I’ve ever found. He saved me over $6,000 on a complicated repair. Here’s the story: My sprinter van broke down in Moab, and I towed to Grand Junction. The shop in grand junction tried to charge me $9k to replace the turbo and the manifold swirl valves, without doing the actual root-cause-analysis work to verify what actually needed replacing. I’ve had my 2001 ML 320 serviced by European Autowerks ever since its warranty expired. I now have 233,000 miles on it and it’s running as strong as ever thanks to EAW. 20-30% less expensive than the dealership with personalized service. All work has been warrantied for one year.
