We inherited a Eureka Gemini double door fireplace with the house we bought. Looks pretty good. But that’s all it’s good for. Previous owners left it filthy, broken fire bricks inside. Pretty sure the iron flu grate has to be taken out & needs a good clean, but before I remove this, the fire bricks inside will fall apart. So needed new bricks. I bought the Jade free-standing and am very happy with it. It was quite easy to install (I did it myself with a couple of friends to help). I would recommend getting the dealer you purchase from to print out the manual when you buy it to familiarise yourself with the process beforehand.
I accidently broke the glass door in my Eureka Onyx stove, its dam cold in the mountains here, and I have guests coming.....The stockist in Bega NSW happily fitted a new one 3 hours later, brilliant service.
Recently bought a Eureka Amber woodstove and am so happy with it. So beautifully designed and crafted. A solid Australian made stove that heats my old farm house so well and looks fantastic with its big window. Being on legs and off the floor means no hiding spots for rodents or wildlife and offers a space to dry out damp kindling. Perfect. Thanks.
I recently purchassed a Opal freestanding heater to replace the Coonara. What a difference, so nice to have clean glass, good heat output,clean burn & nice quiet fan. So cosy. Very happy & would highly recommend.
