So glad that Eureka Vet offered emergency services at such a late hour. Our golden retriever Sylvie ate a magnificent amount of chocolate cake and we had to rush her to Eureka. We are so thankful for Dr Jorge who attended to Sylvie and we deeply appreciated his friendly demeanour! Rob is a fabulous vet and has always "taken the time it takes" with all of my dogs. I love that he is direct with me when it comes to a prognosis. I hate when vets "fluff things up" to avoid upsetting me. I'd rather the blunt reality and Rob knows this so tells me straight what is going on.
This was a very sad day for us. Just recently, we had to have our furbaby euthanased. I can't recommend Eureka Veterinary Hospital high enough. Dr Santiago and Tahlia were very attentive and explained everything to us. They were very helpful, friendly, caring, and patient and allowed us the time we needed to say goodbye to our boy. We were very touched by the card that we received. Thank you for your kindness and support during this time. We very much appreciate this.
