my grandma is a patient and he always takes great care of her diabetic needs, and nurse Nichole trained her on her pump. great place wonderful people.
Dr. Racine and his staff dropped the ball on my sons prescription for insulin and he is a type 1. I had to get emergency insulin for him at the pharmacy. This could of cost him his life. We knew he needed a follow up and testing and made the appointment. I was told that I needed to make the appointment and they would refill his meds. Unfortunately no prescription was sent over.
Doctor Racine, told me he was 100% positive; I needed a total thyroidectomy. Afterwards, I found out, that doctors do not remove thyroids for sub-clinical hyperthyroidism. Only 1% of these patients, will ever develop hyperthyroidism. I had an organ removed from my body, that I cannot live without, for nothing. Every doctor, I have asked, said they should not remove the thyroid for this problem. At this point, I am dying a slow death. For over two years, I have been deathly ill from this surgery.
