Called reception, was instructed to fill out online intake form. Received an email "we do not currently have a psychologist available who can accept your referral". Considering appointment availability, 'Wants to accept' might be better wording. Reaching out is hard. Being declined help when you're vulnerable especially without an explanation causes harm. Feedback: If your psychologists aren't able to help people with certain issues maybe state that in your intake form or the decline email.
Unnecessary boundaries for care for vulnerable people
I highly recommend this clinic to anyone wanting psychological services. Caring experienced staff and the clinic is a peaceful and beautiful space.
I have worked with Dr Blake and Laura for many years and cannot recommend them highly enough. They are kind, warm, compassionate and knowledgeable, and are a great asset to the community.
