Review of Richard Brewer III, NP I’m writing this review to caution anyone considering care from Richard Brewer III, NP. My experience with him was not only unprofessional, but dangerously irresponsible. First and foremost, Mr. Brewer does not correct staff or patients when they refer to him as “doctor”—a title he has not earned. This is misleading and fosters a false sense of authority that becomes especially troubling when paired with the quality of care he provides. Very happy with my provider and the front desk. Perhaps the bad reviews are because the front staff are to the point, but I like that about them. Everything is explained to me before I start a regimen or mode of practice and I am asked explicitly if I consent to treatment which is very clinical but I think every provider no matter what kind of doctor.
Should have listened to the reviews online and just canceled my appointment. ETSU Health mistakenly sent me to see the wrong doctor. Didn't discover that until a few minutes into the appointment when the doctor promptly walked me out of the office, then claimed I was there for a full hour and still billed me $300.
Would give zero stars if I could, save yourself the time and energy and go to a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner somewhere else for medication management.
