Started seeing Dr. Katie Masters after getting out of the hospital in Jan 2026. I had Ambetter Health insurance at the time and it got canceled and Blue Cross took over. When I brought my Blue Cross information no one told me that it wasn't accepted. Then my Blue cross got canceled and reinstated. It was then that I was informed they didn't take it and my bill was 600. I was in shock 😲 🫨 why wasn't I told to begin with??? I would've gone with in my network.
I was highly disappointed. I had such high hopes going to see Dr. Lamichhane as I have a snowball of things going on medically. First and foremost it would have been nice if he took the time to ask me how I was feeling and what symptoms/issues I was dealing with that concerned me the most but instead I was met with “you have a lot on your list let’s go through them” and one by one I got told this doesn’t matter, that doesn’t matter, that was an accidental finding so it doesn’t matter and so on.
