Most horrible experience we have ever had as homeowners. My husband is a former Army Chaplain so we have lived a number of places. Purchased a fireplace 5 1/2 months ago that is literally falling apart. It was broken in their showroom and we were trying to be nice since we were assured that they would make good and get us a hearth. Now the tiles are falling out of the facing. My husband went into the store to inquire how to light our ventless fireplace. Miss Brenda offered to come over and light it for us. We did not purchase it from them, however she could not have been more gracious and helpful. Now that's a store that will treat you right!
Just wanted to thank you all for such great service after we purchased our gas fireplace logs. The installation technician was prompt, courteous and professional, and quickly and efficiently installed the logs. After having been jerked around by Home Depot (and losing $350 on faulty gas logs), we appreciate a company that is capable of taking care of installation on the products they sell!
Very Unsatisfactory! After spending $5000.00+ with this store, they could not deliver the rear heat shield which is necessary for the safe operation. After a 2 month wait, missed delivery promises, ignored emails and phone messages, we finally visited the store to demand a refund. We were greeted by the owner, (unknown to us at the time) Jonathan B. Hilliard, who refused to admit what position he held in the business. Great Selection Incredible selection of woodstoves, grills, and outdoor furniture, all nicely displayed. The staff was very helpful.
I bought a wood burning stove from them. It would not work properly. I took it back, unloaded it and they would not give a refund or replacement and would not help load it back up. I told them to do what they felt was right.....I never HEARD from them again. You be the judge.
