I purchased 4 tickets for my family to attend an event, then later separately purchased one ticket for a last minute addition. When we arrived to the event they said 4 of my tickets were invalid because they were for a previous date. I followed all the same steps to book both sets of tickets so I don’t know how the system messed up the date. They refused to refund so I had to purchase $95 twice. No compassion that it was 2 days after Christmas.
Working with Etix has been a genuinely positive experience, especially when it comes to support during high-pressure, real-world situations. I want to specifically highlight Scott, Jeramy, and Micheal, along with every after-hours rep who has stepped in to help when things weren’t happening neatly within business hours. Searched on Google for show and Venus and the link to etix popped up. Thinking I was clicking on a venue link to buy tickets, I went along thinking they were a bit pricey at 144 for GA but then again its Melissa Etheridge. I buy tickets as a Christmas gift. I receive download and see that price for paid ticket was only 60 a piece. For whoever bought them and sold on etix. I thought hmm that's weird. Why would they charge so much more? Horrible experience. Never received tickets after traveling to the venue. Tickets purchased months in advance but yet they will not release tickets up to 24 hours prior. Just dealing with scalpers.
Customer service and the process to change the email on an order is slow and tedious. Their website is outdated and their AI assistant is only there for people who don't know how to use a website. Order tickets somewhere else if you can help it.
