Fairly awful. Was waiting a very large freight delivery. Got a call on a Thursday it would be delivered that day and they asked at that time if I had a loading dock. Then said no one told them that. They said they would deliver next day instead at 9am. Waited two hours with no word. Then I got a call from person who shipped said the trucking service was trying to get a hold of me (but I had no missed calls). I picked up my shipment at their terminal. They were very helpful loading it on my trailer.
Shipment was supposed to arrive between 1-5pm on a Wednesday. Called at 4:45pm to inquire if the driver was close and was told there had been a mistake and that the shipment would arrive the next day, same time frame, and driver would call ahead. So, I rearranged my work schedule for the Thursday arrival. Shipment arrived at 9:30am the next morning - no call from driver and no call through building intercom to ring my cell phone. Driver was late and didn’t want to make my delivery, so he documented that he arrived at my house, but it was undeliverable. The problem was, I took off a day of work to receive my scheduled delivery, and the driver then lied and said he was there a SECOND time. Absolutely nothing was done about it, and all I was told about filing a claim and getting compensation was to talk to the original seller of the product. **UPDATE** I reached out to the manager of the terminal, and everything was taken care of by rerouting drivers.
