I had a 500 pound freight delivery for my small business that was going through Estes. Our notes requested advance notice. However, they didn't notify us. And showed twice, at times that did not work for us. Speaking with team members, I was made to feel like our expectations were too high and I had no reason to be upset and frustrated with this outcome. We arrived to pick up our shipment, not realizing that will-call pick up is in the afternoon. Addie and Rick and the crew made sure we got our stuff, even though we were early. I appreciate them going above and beyond to take care of us. Excellent service!
They don’t do their own local deliveries if they think you are in a residential area, they hand your shipment off to a third party and don’t even bother to call and tell you this is happening. This practice adds a lot of time to your delivery and the local Estes employees are of little help when you are trying to find your shipment, I would use another shipping company if I were you.
