I recently had a ping-pong table delivered by Estes, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The driver would not take the table off the pallet, telling me it was “against policy.” I explained that I am recovering from a very serious spinal cord injury and am living alone and unable to lift anything over 10 pounds, even offered additional funds for help, and pleaded for a little compassion and humanity. The review is simple: Estes is run by people who just don't give a damn. So much so that their service is probably the worst I've been dealt.
Placed an order thru Home Depot who outsources Estes for their deliveries who outsources to Accurate Cargo. I had 2 orders coming separately. I had contacted them to let them know i needed a box truck as i have a gate that a semi truck would not fit through. I also asked for a 30min call ahead so i could open the gate for the driver. Our delivery was suppose to arrive on 7/14 and has been sitting at the Estes warehouse since. That was 3 days ago. Calling does no help as they aren't even able to give an accurate arrival time. Would not recommend this shipping company.
Never buy anything that needs shipped from Home Depot or anywhere else that uses them. If I could give a zero I would. Dropped off a package that weighs 450lbs on a pallet, in my driveway. Had my son waiting at home to meet them so it could be put behind a fence at least. Nope, they couldn't even be bothered enough to ring the doorbell. I found out it was delivered by email.
