Very disappointing experience. The physician was unprofessional, dismissive, and condescending. I did not feel heard, and my concerns were not properly addressed. When I expressed discomfort with the interaction, he responded dismissively and abruptly left the room. Fortunately, a nurse witnessed the encounter and encouraged me to report the behavior. This matter has been escalated to hospital administration. I would not recommend this provider.
DR Estephan is a great doctor. He mentioned things to me at my appointment yesterday about my condition that I would not have otherwise known about. He will take the time to listen to you and he will let you be your own advocate. By the time you read this, he may be working at another hospital but I saw him at the mayo clinic in scottsdale, AZ. If you want doctors who will listen to you, do their best to help you and let you be your own advocate, go to the mayo clinic and as far as neuromuscular diseases, this guy is brillia... read more
