PAID TO BE ROBBED. This might be one of the harshest reviews I have written - but others must be warned. I hired Cassie to look after my father-in-laws house as we needed to sell his items prior to selling the house. Initial interactions were nice. She was prompt. I agreed to base auction fee. Tried multiple times over the months to register....would not allow me. Even tried registering my friend with his info...would not allow me. Tried calling multiple times estate sales niagara...kept getting the answering machine. ???
I was NOT very happy with Estate Sales Niagara!!! I bid on an item in their last sale. I WON the article. I was notified I won. I was sent no receipt! When I contacted the service, I was told that the person selling pulled it after 4 days of offering it for sale!! To pull it AFTER it was sold should be against the law!!! It was obvious to me that it was just a money grab!!! So becareful this could and probably will happen to you!!! Buyer beware!!! No excuses given just pulled. Money hungry sellers! VERY strict in their "rules" and I am not sure they abide by the Sale of Goods Act, but you get what you pay for and the prices can be incredibly cheap with this auction. As long as you can get there on time and pick up what you bid on you're ok - otherwise avoid at all costs. If the item is large or heavy they will not help you (without an extra cost).
