When we initially met with Ken from Estate Homes, we hit it off and decided to work with him then. We liked that Estate Homes was "one stop shopping." They took the whole house down to the studs and re-built the whole inside from scratch. We liked the designs, quote process, stage by stage explanation, the options with pricing, the time table, weekly milestones, and the calendar schedule that stayed right on time. We found out about Estate Homes because my husband saw a house they were remodeling. He liked the look of the home and we decided to give them a call. We liked the upfront design work, and how they went through every detail. We spent awhile going through everything, and wished that maybe they would have pushed us a little harder through that phase to get started. We liked the Architect and Designer and their methodology. I have known Ken for years as we were in an owner's roundtable group together. I appreciated knowing how Ken had done business over the years. When it came time to do the remodel we had a few different estimates done, but Estate Homes' pricing and presentation sold us. We hired Estate Homes to do a Master bedroom and Bathroom remodel. We came across Estate homes at the Remodeling expo at the convention center. We picked out 3-4 of the contractors that we hit it off with and interviewed them. We liked Estate Homes the best of these, really appreciating their methodical approach. Before we hired them we researched them well, reading reviews and doing our homework on them. We worked with Estate homes most recently two years ago. We had used them previously on another project. We hired them to do some remodel work, including upgrading the kitchen, replacing the floors, entryway and stairwell. We liked the designer, as she was able to take my wife's and my unique styles and bring them together to create something we both were pleased with.
