We had a very bad experience with EDS. They did a home clear-out for us last September taking our artwork, housewares, rugs and furniture. They promised to get the best prices for our possessions and described their auction practices, which included putting things up in their online auction. (They only did that verbally and the process wasn't specified in the contract.) Easy to work with as a buyer. Shipping is reasonably priced, fairly quick and very well packed. Easy to pay invoice and pay for/arrange shipping without a bunch of back and forth. They use shipping saint and everything is simple and clear. A pleasure to deal with.
