Essex stinks – I was offered $9.25 per hour to be a Legal Secretary, and told that I could make $9.50 per hour if I negotiated a higher salary with the client during the interview. The agency never answered my phone calls and I could not leave a message since they have a 201 New Jersey exchange which trips over to a 212 NYC exchange, therefore, voicemails don't work. Dont try them first. last resort – First interview they sent me on, company wasnt even expecting me. they said "the agency shouldve told me that they changed their minds about hiring a temp for the summer."
