came in with low expectations; this place is a dive and was ghost-empty at lunch hour. got amazing service with a smile, which i neither expect nor need in a dive. got two slices of cheese for I think $2.50 each which is a steal in this economy. quality slices, no frills. i have every intention of eating here again, and i hope the locals of Essex, which is a borderline food desert for people on a budget, give this place the business it deserves.
