Poor. Appointments are usually in 2 weeks time. I waited for 30 minutes, that was 25 minutes past my new patient health check appointment. I had to cancel because the waiting time is too long. I understood nurses cannot be rushed when they are seeing a patient but I don’t understand why other nurses can manage their appointments better and be on time.
This is the best GP in my experience, specially Dr Alim is the most experienced doctor in my opinion, all the staff are very friendly and caring. Thank you Essex Lodge
I have waited 12 months for a menopause appointment. The person is “off sick” and then they are “on maternity”. I find it disgusting that a doctors surgery of all places can put this blame on an individual and not take ownership and replace the person temporarily, so no woman in 2025 is waiting 12 months for a 15 minute basic appointment. I have waited over 12 months for a smear tear under general anaesthetic and nobody can tell me where I am on the waiting list. I am deeply disappointed with the management at Essex Lodge GP Surgery. Despite multiple attempts to address ongoing issues, there has been no improvement in the quality of service provided. Appointments are consistently delayed or canceled without adequate notice, leaving patients in distress. When concerns are raised, the management's response is dismissive and lacks accountability.
