+First off I had a very bad experience at UPMC East. The girl at doctor kondvitti's office. Did not book my appointment properly. Didn't save any contact information. SoI prepped for nothing) Dr Esser was very empathetic about what happened at UPMC East. I was treated with respect, professionalism, certainly listened and understood and was concerned. Excellent doctor I would refer him to anybody. he also banded a couple hemorrhoids that very well. Also had a colonoscopy. Very professional office staff and very professional d... read more

Very good experience with Dr. Esser. He explained everything thoroughly and answered my questions. Very nice guy as well.
Great surgeon. I do a lot of research before I see any doctor. I couldn’t find all that many reviews on colorectal surgeons and I typically exclusively see female providers. I was very nervous to see Dr. Esser at my first appointment, but I have nothing but great things to say. It took a while to fix my issue, but it he was able to resolve it. Thank you, Dr. Esser! I thought I was having a complication after the last surgery, I may have been in the early stages of an infection (just something that can happen, no one’s fault)... read more
